We had a very nice Christmas. We were not able to do much of anything gift-wise for the girls, but our families took care of them very well. We managed to squeeze in time to see all of our family branches: my mom, dad and siblings and Heather's mom, dad and siblings as well... no small feat. Heather's sister, brother-in-law and niece, as well as her brother Zeb, are all home for the holidays and we've really enjoyed seeing them.
Heather was very sick this month as well... she started coughing and sneezing around Addah's birthday on the 9th. It got progressively worse and I finally took her to the hospital on the 12th, when she was having trouble breathing. The diagnosis was acute bronchitis. Two weeks of strong antibiotics and cough syrup with codeine, plus a few days of making her lie around and do nothing, and she's feeling mostly better.
I am determined to get back to posting on a regular basis. I've got lots of new works in progress, lots of ideas written down and for the moment, plenty of time for drawing. This excess of time will hopefully not last too long, so I plan to take advantage of it while it's there.
