Welcome to my blog! My name is David Webb and I am an artist and the owner of Graphite Web. I plan to use this blog to share my works-in-progress, finished artwork as it becomes available for purchase, and maybe some little tidbits about my personal life that I think would interest people. :)
About Me
I have been drawing for over 30 years. My artwork is highly influenced by American animation and the realms of fantasy and science fiction. My favorite subjects have been nature and beauty.
I've recently become engaged to Heather, one of my oldest and best friends, and as part of the package, I became stepdad to two little beauties, Lakin & Addah. We live a simple life and try to appreciate the small wonders that surround us. I would have never stepped out into the world with my artwork without their support and strength.
I use graphite, pencil, colored pencil, watercolor pencil, ink and oil pastels to create my original artwork. I experiment with new materials as the urge strikes, but always come back to my favorites.
