Another year...

Today is my birthday! I'm happy to be spending the day with my honey, watching movies and working on our individual crafts... knitting for her and drawing for me. She's made a delicious devil's food chocolate cake, which we'll devour after dinner. No kids here this weekend so it's up to us to enjoy the cake for them. ;)

Little Addah

Yesterday was Addah's birthday. Eight years old... such a big girl! Heather wrote a little bit about her over on her blog. She's an awesome kid, just pure imagination and boundless energy. I asked her tonight what she wanted for Christmas and she said "us, you know, just my family". Funny, that's exactly what I want for Christmas too. :)
